Van Dyke Brown Prints
While studying at Bennington College, I mentored a local twelve year old girl for two years. She lived with her older brother and father, but her mother had passed away a few years earlier. This book is a series of 4x5 black and white portraits of her during our time together.
The book is an accordion fold attached at the front cover that pulls out into a full spread. Each page has a cut window, allowing images to be removed and reordered. The prints are Van Dyke Brown and the cover is a Cliché verre print from an angel drawing made by Becky.
